There is a mathmatical formula that has been used to show the population growth...if you calculate the population today based on the earth being that old it just doesn't add up...also NASA accidentally proves that the moon wasn't nearly as old as they had thought b/c they thought they would need those 3 ft spider like legs on the apollo to get to the surface of the moon through all the 'space dust' but guess what...only two inches of dust...uuummmmm????????????

Without getting into the merits of either side's arguments, I fit into your category.

To believe in a literal Adam and Eve, I would have to believe that they were both intelligent enough to name all of the animals. If they could do that and understand what they were doing, I would think that they could and would have been able to read and write. If not, they would have soon learned. If that were the case, then written history would have started with works from Adam or Eve and the Bible would have have started with Genesis written by Adam and not Moses.

It is more plausible, to me, that homo-sapiens were part of the initial lineup of animals along with other humanlike animals. I believe they were uneducated, caveman-like humans that evolved into modern humans and developed knowledge and understanding over a period of time.

I believe Adam and Eve are symbolic characters representing the beginning of humanity and the 6 days of creation are somewhat of a montage to get us through the opening scenes until the action begins.

And before anyone says something...

You can be a creationist without being a Biblical creationist. Other religions also have creationist theories and I have the mental capacity to develop my own theories as I see fit. If Darwin can do it, by golly, so can I!

Do you know some non-earth creationists?
The bible is not to be privately interpreted (pick and choose).
I hope not but today there probably is.
Recheck the biblical age of the earth.
