You need to get your credit report. You are allowed 1 free per year from each of the 3 reporting companies. Once you get the report it will give you all the information you need to know. This is also a good time to make sure that everything on there is correct. Any incorrect information you have a right to dispute.

The link below is the one for the free report. Watch out for others with similar names that will charge you for the same thing.

By getting a copy of your credit report. Get one from free annual credit report.. it's a web-site gives you a free report every year.

pull a credit report from annualcreditreport.com

it's free and you can get one from all 3 bureaus every year. so get them all together or spread them out throughout the year.

if you don't want to do this, contact your credit companies and ask them.
