CAULIFLOWER MUSHROOM SABZI

Preparation Time : 10min
Cooking Time : 20 min
Serves / Makes : 5 or 6


Ingredients :

1.500gms cauliflower
2.mushrooms- 250gms
3.potato- 3nos. medium size
4. 1 large size onion
5. 1tsp ginger paste
6. 1tsp garlic paste
7.cottage cheese – 100gms
8.butter-1tbs
9.oil-2tbs
10. Salt - 1tsp
11.1/2tsp haldi powder
12. 2-tsp – dhania powder
13.1 tsp jeera pow
14.1tsp- red chilli powder
15.2nos. Bay leaves
16.garam masala – 1tsp


Method :

1. Cut cauliflower florets and potatoes into big sizes.
2. Cut mushrooms into small pieces and then lightly fry it in butter.
3. Cut the cheese into small pieces. Make a paste of this mushrooms and cheese in a mixer.
4. Heat 2tbs oil and remaining butter in a pan and. put bay leaves in the oil.
5. Then put chopped onion stir-fry it till it becomes transparent.
6. Now put ginger garlic paste and stir it.
7. Put cauliflower florets and potatoes and stir-fry it for 2 minutes. Add salt.
8. Then put all the masala except garam masala stir fry it and then add mushroom and cheese paste. Put half a cup of warm water.
9. Cover it to cook for 10 minutes till it becomes thick gravy. Now put garam masala.
10. And serve hot with parathas.


Tips :
you can put 2tsp of fresh cream on top of this sabzi to make it look more delicious

Mushroom Sabzi

Ingredients:

• 3 Cups cleaned and chopped mushrooms
• Minced cilantro
• 1 tsp Tamarind paste
• Salt to taste
• For spice mixture:
• 2 Dried red chillies
• 1 tbsp Split yellow peas
• 5 Black peppercorns
• For tempering:
• 1 tsp Mustard seeds
• 5 Fresh curry leaves
• 1 tbsp Vegetable oil


Cooking Instructions:
• Saute together all the ingredients for spice mixture.
• Cool and make fine powder by grinding in a coffee grinder.
• Heat oil in a pan and fry mustard seeds and curry leaves for few seconds.
• Add the mushrooms and saut?. Add salt to taste.
• Add the spice mixture when mushrooms start releasing water.
• Saute them for a few minutes on medium heat.
• Now add tamarind paste and stir the mixture for a minute.
• Garnish with coriander leaves.
• Serve with rice.

Ingredients
250 grams mushrooms
2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 lavang
1/2 inch dalchini
onions cut into small pieces
spring onions cut into small pieces( 1 small bowl)
coriander to garnish
salt to taste

cut mushrooms into cubes.. put some oil in a pan.. add the
washed and cut mushrooms into the pan.. add a pinch of salt and turmeric powder.. cook for 2 min.. water will come out of mushroom.. cook till the water gets evaporated

take another pan.. put oil,onions,ginger garlic paste, shajeera,lavang and dalchini.. cook till brown.. then add spring onions cook for 2 mins then add mushrooms .. add some salt and chilli powder cook for 2 mins.. garnish with coriander.. and server hot
