my best friend studied interior design and told me that she learned in a class called the psychology of color that green is calming and soothing which is perfect for a study.

Dark colours ( like black, heavy brown or deep purple) are not recommended. However,it does not matter if you choose any light colour because the most important thing is that your own concentration should take priority importance over and above the colour. Also, the study room should be correcly ventilted.
I suggest white and light yellow.

I think it is a great color! I would choose sage green if it was me

mild non distracting colors like light green light blue or even white, not bright white but like more of a duller white.

to me if you are going for a to color room i would go for blue and orange but if you want one i would go with baby blue.
