We have a peacock at our house, we do not own it, that keeps pecking at our car. I want him to stop. I have tried chaseing him off, but he just wont learn. I wonder if he may be scared to approach it if there were something he was scared of near it, like a owl statue.

You could try a scarepeacock (like a scarecrow).

Is the Peacock picking bugs off the car that have become highway casualties (radiator or grill) or working at the shiny chrome places ? The bugs that a car collects can be removed... the chrome and other shiny places are a problem..

I dont know that there is anything you can do, we had a male peacock where i worked and he would see his reflection on the car and get agitated - he attacked my truck pretty good one time, bloodied himself all up and scratched up my truck pretty good.

Try bottle rockets.... firecrackers. Light and toss near him when he gets near the car. That'll work....
