that will actually work, but you will need to make sure you aren't consuming high amounts of calories, make sure your meal portions are smaller than usual and cut out junk food and sodas.
good luck!

In the morning run/walk a mile
eat a healthy breakfast
after school run/walk a mile 100 pushups, 100 squats, 100 leg raises, and 100 cruches.
It's not enough excersise. Get off your butt and go play some basketball or run with your dog. You need cardio.
If you eat less and excersise more it will help you a lot.
Try to burn at least 300 calories a day in cardio excersise
Cut 500 calories from your daily food intake. If you drink regular soda switch to diet and there ya go calories fixed.
You also need to drink a lot of water.

First of all, the first 5-8 pounds that you lose, is water weight. Then, if you start using your muscles, push-ups, (arms) (if you haven't before) then your muscles will start to enlarge & if you're weighing yourself all the time, you're going to think that you're gaining weight, whereas you are gaining "muscle mass". It's not a bad thing, but if you want muscle, you must keep it up on a daily basis.
If you actually want to lose weight - Drink water, walk - don't run, leg raises are good, sit-ups are good-but start slow-5-15 a day, depending on how much excercise you do already. And, if you can, swim, swim, swim - it works all the muscles in your body (my fav sport).
p.s. you're not an overweight person to begin with, so don't go crazy.
Take care.

I don't think the push ups will work. But the leg raises is not a bad idea. Running and swimming are the best exercise if u want to lose weight. Don't eat much dinner.

Ha ha, very funny!
Try 60 minutes of exercise a day, with 3 healthy meals, 3 small snacks and no soda. This should help you lose 2 pounds per week.

I was in your position a couple years ago. I lost 30lbs in two months by weight lifting 3 times a week (light weights nothing psycho), and I jogged around the block....increasing my distance every few days until I was actually able to run two miles! Cardio and strenght training are a very important part of losing weight as is diet.

I would say to start off every other day for a week and see how your muscles feel. If they're OK, then I don't see why you can't do it every day.
Your diet also has a part to play in it. Healthy breakfast, lunch AND dinner. Bear in mind that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so you should pay attention to it.

That's good, but you have to cardio more than that stuff. For instance 1 hour of hard weight training loses about 300 calories an hour as opposed to a fast jog/run which burns about 900 calories an hour. Run, walk fast, etc. That is the most important thing for you to do.

Drink the water. Walk a lot. I think 100 push ups are excessive.
Go on the Atkins diet.

i wouldnt start trying to do 100 push ups first off.
and i cant see any gross motor movement.
wanna loose fat?
eat less, go for a 45 minute walk or swim.
they are the best two exercises you can do.
if you get hungry, dont go for chips, or chiko rolls.
have an apple, or any piece of fruit!
less food + gross motor movement = thinner healthier you!

I dont think you should be concerned with pushups or leg raises. Calisthenics is what you should be aimed at to start losing weight. I suggest running but if you cant do that, try the stationary bike or elliptical.
