I think it's a bad idea to start marriage already in the hole. Work a little to save for a small wedding that won't burn a whole through you wallet.

To my mind you are still young and before getting married, you should get a job first. Start saving month by month, even if it is little at a time. When you are quite settled financially, then you can go to Nigeria to marry your fiance. While you are working in US, advice also your fiance to look for a job so that both of you can earn something before you start your new life together. Your future family will depend very much on both of you as husband and wife! All the best!

Not a good idea. Prepare for marriage...then it will be more likely to last. So finish college, and have him get situated in a good job and able to support a family....then get married.

Be careful! I know a girl who went there to marry her nigerian boyfriend. He came to America a couple of months later. 2 months after that she realized he just wanted to come to America. Just know what you are doing. These guys can be great con men when it comes to manipulating brides.

Have him come here and do an africian themed wedding on a small budget.
