NO , not while you live on earth ! How can you be punished by a God that you don`t believe in ? If you don`t have any Faith or believe in God ; then you have made all your life choices on worldly doctrine and you are punished by the ways of the world , not by a God that you don`t believe in ! . Your punishment from God comes when you take your last breath , and you have not accepted Him as your personal Savior while able to do so !!

You know, there are crusaders, inquisitors, black people hangers, Jew killers, and what not, they all say they do it because of some divine reason, do you want to join them?
Oh! I just noticed you are not in the punisher's side. That's a relief.
No, it is not bad, you just haven’t been completely brain washed. I do recommend you to pray so God can shape your faith, and I also recommend you to be deriving your own conclusions without blindly believing what someone wants you to believe for whatever reason.
I'd wish for you to look into everything else you have not yet been exposed and at the end of your research look at what you were exposed in the beginning (not as a believer, but as an unbiased person. .

Some people say "conscience is God's presence in man..." God is accepted differently by different people. You have Jesus Christ, Mohammed, Buddah, the Goddess, the creative force in the Universe....The pagans and some indian tribes believe God is in the wind, the earth, the sea, the mountains. I know I feel God's presence standing on a glacier vs. sitting in a Church. Sounds like you need to wander into your own answer. I choose to believe that God is love --- so it would be impossible for the faithless to be punished. If anyone has the capacity to love, there lies the divine. We all have a divine nature. Step out and embrace love --- the world awaits you.

You have to have some level of fear to be good, otherwise who would really listen. He made us and has power over us, over our planet, so he could punish you so you could wake up and beleive in him. What other way are non believers going to believe....God doest like to be laughed at or unrecognized. if you were a parent and your kids did wrong..you need to punish them somehow so they can learn and grow from what they are doing wrong..in the end be better people

If you reject God, God will, ultimatly, reject you... but... you have untill your last rational concious breath to come to Him as He prescribes... after that it is to late... if you have not come to Him as He prescribes by then, you will be eternaly seperated from Him... and that will not be a good thing for you.and all the others who chose to reject Him

All who come to God in The Way He prescribe will receive His free gift of Salvation and will become part of The Body of the Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. these are the ones of The True Christian Faith. Only those of The Church will enter Heaven.

God is the only one who can judge your faith or lack of it. Eventually, you will face judgement just as we all will. If you believe even a little, then I would suggest you try to learn more about Him and who and what He is.

Being in Satan's world will bring punishment enough without any protection from God

I don't believe God punishes.I do believe that we punish ourselves with bad choices we make in our lives, obviously there are consequences to our choices. The Bible says God disciplines those he loves( His children). So I also believe that.

"and they were cast into the lake of fire" sounds like a good start on punishment "and the smoke of their torment shall go up forever" sounds like active punishment to me.
Earth life is just what it is and God lets us choose our way and do as we will but there is a day of reckoning or of Judgment.

To be without God is to be without His Son Jesus. To be without Jesus is to be without the free gift of Salvation. To be without Salvation is to die in your sins and be eternally damned to the Eternal Lake of fire. No grey area here. You either believe and follow the Truth, the way and the life (Jesus)and end up in heaven OR you do not believe in Jesus and end up in the eternal lake of fire. Read the Bible - it'll tell you truth from God, not just opinions that may prove to be wrong from others. Your eternal life is at stake here. Who will you trust your eternal life with God or man?
