calling your cousins parents is a excellent idea and you might try using a hot water bottle w/hot water in it and a washcloth or towel and place the cloth over her ear and apply the hot water bottle. The heat will soften the earwax and should give some relief. I had earaches when I was little and it worked great. Hope this helps! G.

Run warm-hot water into a bath tub. Hot as she can take it. She should get in, sink down to level where her ear is just low enough to allow the warm water into the ear. Then, let the water in (she'll hear the bubbles as the water slips in) count to 20 and lift her head out and drain it.
Do this until the pain subsides. If after half-hour to 45-mins it doesn't, call for medical attention. Get her dressed for a hospital stay.

blow your parents pager up!!
put a warm rag on the ear that hurts and hold your cousin. this wont make it go away but it helps. sometime some pain medicine will help depending on the age. call your local pharmacy for advice. they help with non medical advice for free.

Call the parents or closest adult relative. Try to give her some painkillers for the pain. If a minor then children's medicine. Call her doctor if you have the number.

You need to call your friend's parents. They might not be thrilled to find out your parents are at a bar and not answering their phones, but your friend's health is more important.
