Laws about what your parents have to give permission for and what doctors are allowed to tell them vary depending on what state or country you're in.
In many places, you're entitled to medical confidentality about sexual health from the age of 13 or 14. Once you reach the age of majority, which is 18 in most places, doctors aren't allowed to tell anyone, including your parents, anything about your medical history unless you say they can.
In most places, your parents would have to give permission for any procedure that requires what's called 'informed consent.' That would generally apply to experimental procedures, clinical trials, and anything risky, like surgery. You don't have to sign a consent form for routine exams, psychiatric evaluation, many prescriptions, and other normal, safe aspects of medical care, so your parents wouldn't have to give permission for those kinds of things.
If you're old enough to make an appointment and get yourself to the doctor's office, and there's a good reason for your parents not to be there, they're probably not going to send you away because your parents aren't there. You can always ask the doctor you're going to see if it's ok if you come without your parents.

If you are under 18, your parents will most likely have to sign a paper so you can be treated, but you can go into the doc office without them as soon as you're old enough to request that!

I think it is 18. My daughter could not see a doctor without me being present until she was 18. I was in the service and she was my dependent. When she was in her grandparents care my mother had to go with her. I think if a female goes to a gyn another female adult has to be with her.

In California If you are seeing the doctor for a sexually related problem say, pregnancy test or std, you can see him at any age. If you have a cold,or sprain your toe you have to bring your parent till you are 18 or have papers of emancipation. We live in a backward world.
