A while back I was falsely accused of shop-lifting. I am not someone who takes that type of B.S. and I had no intention of "cooperating" with them.

Anways, they put a picture of me on the window and said I was no longer allowed to go into Best Buy stores (can they even do this?? it's public property). They gave their security guards tazors because they did not want people to "walk all over them" like I did.

Well, this afternoon I was dying to see the movie "Borat," which just came out on DVD. Normally I would have my *friends* go buy it for me, but they were busy working (LOSERS!)

I didn't think they would notice me if I wore a hood. Unfortunetly, a cashier saw me and as I was walking down the isle three workers tackled me; including a *rent a cop* with a yellow shirt. He "zapped" me twice and I fell to the ground.

I was still kicking and screaming bloody murder and I gave one of the workers a bloody nose, and the guy tazored me again and again. They then escorted me out of the store. In the prosess I even tripped another customer by *accident.* When I got out of the store I was exhausted and my right leg was a bit numb.

I'm not sure what I should do. Should I sue there asses?

My rights--I know them, I exercise them, the rest of you and this system be damned.

Try to talk to someone in the managment store and explain to him your situation. Talk to him by phone to invite him in Starbucks for a cup of coffee. Be deplomatic when solving such issues.

To answer the only part of your question I believe... Yes, Best Buy can ban you from returning. It's private property and the public is invited to shop there as long as they conduct themselves appropriately.

Besides, why not just go to Walmart, Target, Blockbuster? Certainly you have more outlets to get a movie than Best Buy. By the way, you're friends aren't losers because the have a job.

the store isnt a public place, its private property. You could sue them for defamation of character and libel for putting the picture in the window. The use of a tazer might be seen as unreasonable force. Go and see an ambulance chaser

Sounds like another "unsatisfied" customer of Yahoo Answers. Why do these people even come here? When unanimously given an answer they don't like suddenly the world is wrong. Which is my guess exactly why you got tazered multiple times.

You are wrong. Be a big boy, take your lumps and shut the f*** up already.

Of course. Yes, Mozilla Firefox is more secure than Internet Explorer, but you still need some antivirus (or "internet security") software.

You are one of the dumbest people I have ever heard of. Best Buy is PRIVATE PROPERTY!!! They do not have to allow you in. You are also a liar. I do not believe what you have said is all true. I however, do incourage you to sue. You will waste your time and your money. I guarantee it 100%.

Talk to a lawyer...sounds more than likely that you will have criminal charges pressed...AGAINST YOU...It is NOT public property...it is private property open to the public...HUGE difference...they reserve the right to deny access to anyone they choose,,,as you were told not to come in..you were criminally trespassing..a felony here in NJ. You also bragged about tripping a customer..that's assault...
Best talk to a lawyer....you can file suit...you may or may not win...BUT you would more than likely find yourself in the klink first...

No, Best Buy is not "Public Property", you moron. They have as much right to throw you out of their store, with whatever the necessary force, as you do to throw someone off YOUR property. You do have the right to throw someone off of YOUR property, don't you?

And, the line between "necessary" and "unnecessary" force is determined by YOU. They have the right to use whatever force it takes to counter the force of your resistance. You resisted, they used more force, i.e. the taser. You continued to resist, they continued to use the taser.

No one has the right to act like an @sshole. In your case you were criminally trespassing (a store is private not public property). I hope they file appropriate charges. Losers like you cause prices to go up for everyone.
