The decorating is only for the small dinner I'm having for my family about 55-60 people at the most.not too many tables so I think I can go with something nice

i went with oriental lilies but i am partial to that flower i think roses are over used and lilies are more sweet and elegant and you dont have to buy as many of them to take up the same amount of space plus they have wonderful shadings in their color

I would go for the calla lilies, they are just so beautiful. Have them with some greenery stems to make the white pop. Have in the centre of the tables a tall glass vase with three of these flowers with a sand colour stones on the bottom. Have tea candles are beautiful as well floating in water.
Congrats

I like the idea of both white roses and calla lilies, maybe incorporate both in your floral arrangements. Since it's only for a small dinner and you could afford to do something nicer. I've gone onto the Better Homes & Gardens website and looked at their centerpieces and bouquets and found some beautiful ideas, why don't you try there and see if you find something to your liking?
Good luck and best wishes for a beautiful dinner!

I think a really pretty thing to do would be to take rose petals and scatter them over a table and then cover them with a lace tablecloth. The centerpieces can be a single rose floating on a bowl of water with glow sticks in them to illuminate the water (you can use food coloring for the water too). That or you can take a single flower and lay it across each guests plate with a potted plant as the centerpiece.

This really depends on your budget for flowers. Calla lilies are very nice but also very expensive. Consult with a few florist's for ideas and cost. Daisy's are a less expensive way to go and if they are done up nicely they can look very nice.

I love calla lilies!

Especially the stems, they are long and firm and look exotic.

Either flower is beautiful, you can also do both, alternate every other table with roses and calla lilies.

Congratulations!!!

cut the cost by using fake flowers for the reception hall
if needed just have real flowers at the church and use more ribbon and bows things like that
i decorate for a living and we don't use as many flowers as you would think. just use them for the bridesmaids and if you pick the right kind they can all walk down with one long stem flower and more for you bouquet. also use balloons for the reception that way you can use the colors you want, it looks wonderful and you don't spend a bunch of money on flowers that you wont have the next day.

I would do a mixture of a great variety of white flowers, from the most exotics to the most common and classic types of flowers and mix a little be with flower on the color peach too.

We asked our florist to order the flowers in bulk so we could have the calla lillies and then she used the other flowers elsewhere. LOTS CHEAPER THAT WAY
