Why do some people still say muslims are violent, when the ones who are bashing religions here are non-muslims and the ones who are answering properly and politely are muslims themselves?

Ask the Pope: He just quoted a medieval pope and churches were attacked with fire-bombs amongst rioting and a nun assassinated.
Ask those who published a cartoon which started a world-wide protest.
Ask those whose loved ones never returned from work on September 11, 2001.
Ask anyone of the different sects of Islam who may be murdered in their mosque for their deviant beliefs.
Ask 80 % of the Muslims who do not support terrorism, but are afraid to speak because they will become a target.

Some people still say Islam is peaceful.
Open today's news paper and see how many terrorist attacks happened in the name of Islam and allah.
According to quran a real Muslim has to take part in Jihad and killing those who deny to accept Islam.
Quran calls the moderate Muslims as Hypocrites.
See the yahoo answers people like punter, A2Z. Azeez Urmi etc are bashing Christianity and abusing the christian faith with your fake Koran.
Is this the way the peaceful people work???????

My best guess would be, that anybody reading newspapers or watching news of world events knows that there are a lot of "terrorists" out there, basically just killers and sociopaths, claiming to do it all for their God Allah.
That means they are muslims, no ?
I always wondered how the so called "peace loving" muslims of this world - and I am sure there are many - allow their religion and faith to be hijacked by murderers and assassins. Cold blooded killers thinking they go to muslim heaven - to the "hauris" in paradise where milk and honey and female and male virgins are available 24/7 - by strapping on an explosive filled vest and incinerating themselves and innocent humans.
May be you can tell me ?
My God is all about love, not Holy War and ignoring laws and other humans

Even the most peaceful Muslim agrees with cutting off peoples hands and feet as a punishment for theft, slashing for adultery. I don't call that peaceful. One of my Muslim friends (virgin at 30, running off for prayer 5 times a day) told me he would send his sister away if she slept with a man before marriage, that he hates Israel/Jews. He shows no compassion for 9/11. "Why do you make such a fuss because of these 3'000 people dead"

They are not a peaceful people. They are bent on gaining power and forcing their views upon anyone and everyone. They view all nonbelievers as the infidel and that they must die. Even if they are a Western civilization loving moslem they still hate the Jews and would do anything to kill them and take back their precious holy land. They have been in constant warring ever since Islam came into existence. They treat their women like **** and kill whomever breaks their rules. If that is a peace bearing religion and a peaceful people I dont know what one is?!

Making sarcastic comments to one another is a lot different than centuries of holy wars. There is no way to refute that Christianity and Islam both have long histories of meaningless bloodshed for the idea of a God. A God they share in common no less. All we see are beheadings, running over the arms of small children for taking a bit of bread, the constant cry of jihad. Pictures and actions speak louder than words.

Simply because people live thier just judging and looking at the flaws of others. It also has to do with ignorance. If people were to learn about the virtues and qualities of Muslims, then they would end up loving and admiring them. If I was to list all qualities of Muslims, I would be here all night. I'm central American myself and raised as a Catholic, but I respect and admire Muslims.
