Well, something like that sorta happened to me. One night, I woke up and the second I opened my eyes it felt like I fell into my body or something. I can't explain it too well. But I totally love Sylvia Browne. I know a lot of people think she is a fake but I don't. I think she is the real deal. I have read some of her books. I am reading one at the moment. "The Mystical Life of Jesus", it's really interesting and good so far.

How come you never read that Sylvia Browne won the lottery?
On another note---I was in bed and my mind was quiet when I heard a bell of a death. I found out later a friend of mine had died.Has this happened to you? Or can anyone here share an experience like this? Or the Omen of when death of a close one is near a bird will come into your window or home.

No you dont actually leave your body. Your mind disconnects from the world outside and your spirit is at that moment in control of the mind.
When in dreamstate our subconcious is aware of what is going on inside and projects that into our psyche and we interpret those dreams.
Sylvie Browns is not a "real Psychic" for there is no such thing.
A real Psychic does not use persuasion to make people believ.

Silvia Browne has severely screwed up what the occult really is. Do yourself a favor and stop reading her books, they're full of half truths and distortions. Complete and utter crap.

There is a name for that though, the whole leaving your body and visiting other planes while asleep thing. It's called an out of body experience, and to do it willingly is astral projection.

Umm, thats an OBE and not everyone has that experience. Watch out for Sylvia Browne. She's good but some of her ideas are kind of.... twisted. She's extremely religious so she views everything from that perspective.

This is a very commonly held belief that the astral body leaves during sleep(staying attached to the body by a super stretchy silver cord) and visits other places during sleep.

I have also experienced this. Sylvia has been a comfort to me and has helped me to understand alot about what I have been going through most of my life. Her insight has let me know that I am not crazy or "possessed" like the fundies would have liked me to believe. She let me know that I wasn't a freak. I thank the Goddess for her.

It happens to me a lot. It called astral travel and I can never do it on purpose, it just happens sometimes. I don't agree that it happens all the time, I think All of us do it at some point. I wish I could learn to do it on purpose and control it better, but its kinda cool.

Yes, just remember to tell yourself if you travel out of body during sleep, you want a relaxing and calm reentry. Ask your angels & guides to make sure it is a peaceful one.

It has not happened to me. But I do see dreams, in which I go to heaven visit our relatives who are there. Your experience sounds interesting.
