Ran into my Ex & his Dad at the football. We had a messy break up 6 months ago. His Dad (who I have remained freinds with) invited me to dinner, & I went. His dad asked me to talk with his son as he cares about us both.
I called my ex that night & invited him for a beer. We had a very healthy & frank chat about our issues. He told me he thought I was un-interested in him or his welfare anymore. I told him I had to move on with my life and needed some distance to get perspective. He told me he had gone back to another ex. I said I was happy for him, however, would not give an opinion as it was a bias point of view.
I was to drunk to drive so I spent the night. Nothing happened that night.
The next morning when we were both sober, I was half alseep and I missed him sometimes kinda slipped out of my mouth. He kissed me. I told him that was a bad idea. He told me there was nothing romantic or sexual between him and the other girl.
I had the best ex sex but now I feel guilty.

I didn't say I woudn't want to get back with him... I love him and he knows this. I just needed to move on from where we once were.

I find it interesting that there is a view that is supported him cheating. I put the breaks "No way if there is another girl"-"Not a good idea".
My guilt is ONLY over my potential error in judgement... I didn't cheat - I am single. If he cheated than he should feel guilty not me.
To be clear... Do you think he lied about the relationship with the other girl? - Yes/ No
Is it ever wise to have ex sex with a man you still love or is it an fatal flaw in a persons heart that leads to bad judgement.

BWT ... The messy situation was our son had passed away as he was born to pre-mature to survive. Our grief made us fight as we couldn't cope in the same way.
Also I don't spare a thought for the other woman who was his ex coz she cheated on him. I certianly don't care about the sex, but I'm glad I enjoyed it. I care about him. You should be more careful what you say.

Honestly, You should feel guilty. He has a girlfriend and just because he said there is nothing romantic or sexual with her, they are still girlfriend and boyfriend.
How would you feel if you were the girlfriend, honestly??? How do you know for sure what their relationship is exactly? There are always 2 sides to every story.
Sex should not be what you want in the relationship, what about everything else? Why did you become ex's? You said it was a messy break up and you had one night to talk about it after you put yourself in tempting situation.
You need to stay away from your ex . When he is attached, you need to stay away from him. No if's, and's, or but's.....

it really does not matter, if you know that you are not looking'to get back with him then you should have not had sex with him
regardless of what the relationship is with the other girl, time
to be honest with your self then you can do what is right. but
only you know the answer to that.
