I think someone just used the silence in Bible about Jesus to spread rumors .

No body gets enlightened by being in Himalayas. We should think seriously and sensibly, before we flaunt these kind of ideas. Being in Himalayas is one thing , but thinking that one gets enlightened because of it, is not true.

We can not rely on this information.

1. There are no clearcut evidence
2. Enlightment is a process in which man experience the Supreme Being-God. But Christ is God. So he does not require it.
3. Even if he came to Himalya , it does not affect believers. Afterall India is not that much Bad for a God to visit.

The Bible is silent about Jesus' life from age 12 to 30. But as the eldest son, responsibility would have fallen to Him to provide for the family. (Joseph is last heard about in Jerusalem when Jesus was 12.) It is assumed that He supported His mother through His carpentry, but again, the Bible is silent about that period.

this is some great story...linking everything with India and Indian culture....as though India alone has the air to breathe enlightment. pretty imagenative though.no need of himalayas there are hills and mountains in israel.

Jesus had gone to mount olive to pray, to mount thabor where he showed his glory to the appostles....etc

THE LIFE SPAN OF ALL THE GOD AND GODDESS MENTIONED IN THE HOLY HINDU SCRIPTURES.
