Once they start getting to school age it is definitely time to stop. No more than 5-6 at the very latest anything after that is starting to get a little creepy. At that age little girls should not be running around the house without shirts on either, even though they don't have anything yet. As far as people saying that you should never photograph your very young kids without clothes on or that Fathers should never be around their children without clothes on that is just incredibly idiotic and just shows how stupid some people are. There is nothing wrong with parents taking an innocent picture of a small toddler or a baby without clothes on. People have truly lost their minds. Parents bathe and dress their kids, change their poopy diapers, but yet you can't take a picture of your baby's butt? So many people's brains are eaten up nowdays sometimes that I wish I had been born in another time.

Yeah, that is tough. I hesitate to take some now and my boys are 1 and 2. I have a ton baby tub pictures of myself, but that was 22 years ago.
I think that when they can understand "private parts" and start to get curious about, up there or down there! which is 2 closer to 3. My 2 1/2 year old son will say "don't touch" and put his hand over himself when he is getting his diaper changed or getting in the tub. So that is good that he knows that nobody can touch him there and I don't want to send him mixed messages and take a naked tub picture ( completely harmless) and have him think that it is o.k. to take naked pictures! I think that it depends on the developmental stage of the child. I don't take any more pictures naked or tub, I took like 20 of him and I have like 20 of his brother. I occasionally get the run around the house in a diaper picture(not many, my kids are usually dressed all day), but I probably won't take anymore pictures of them in the tub...... Sorry for the run on, but great question. I hope this helped.

I think it depends on the comfort level of the child and how much of the child's body is exposed. The best bath pictures are in a tub full of bubbles and they are making beards and hats and all sorts of fun things but their bodies are piled high with bubbles. Most children are fine with their picture being taken in the nude till about three and then they get private about themselves. Parents should not interfere with their privacy because it sends the wrong message.

When you feel it is not appropriate any more. And photo's like that should be treated with care. I have seen a very popular TV show in Australia where the host made a big deal out of the fact that he had seen his co-hostess in the nude. There are people like that.

Children over the ages have found this to be nothing but an embarassment. Now that pedophilia is on the rampage, I suggest never take such photos.

Well it used to be up to the families but now the State has stepped up & labeled a lot of innocent parents as pedophiles for having naked pictures of their kids even though they never intended them for distribution.

I am as against kiddie porn, or any exploitation of children as the next guy, but we don't want to get hysterical about it do we?

it's cute to see a baby or toddler in the tub. it's weird to see anyone over the age of 5 in the tub. it is poor decision making in the world to photograph naked children. one must wonder about the parent's motives.

I think that 6 years old is the oldest that they should have pictures taken of them in the tub...anything older is not good.
