Hi April,
It would simply break down in the can due to the added stock
juice but i cannot see the reason for not changing the product
to a puree which could be used for soups, dips etc or added
to mixed vegetables for a vegetarian pie.

broccoli is an odd shape. For example It is easier to put a whole corn in a bag then in a can. (unless chopped up)

It would not stand up to the intense heat required for canning nor the prolonged amount of time sitting in water waiting to be opened.
