I am building a DATA ark with all data from the entire internet.

I am gonna lock them in a fire chest that can withstand heat up to 1,550F, waterproof, and is thick too.

Can this protect my DVD Ark of the Information/DATA from EMP Attacks?

if not is there a way to protect my valuable information cheaply from EMP attacks?

Well to solve this problem I will include technical plans of Computers and DVD players, or maybe even protect a mini laptop and so I can rebuild computers from scratch and start things up again

A faraday shield will protect anything electronic. Surround the object with metal. It can be as simple as wrapping it completely in aluminum foil. I know, it sounds like a scene from a movie about a mental case, or a practical joke, but an electric field can't penetrate a conductor.

Have you ever seen the side show act where a guy is in a metal cage with lightning bolts of electricity hitting the cage, but the guy inside isn't shocked? That's because the electric field inside a faraday cage is zero.

Hiroshima could have been avoided via the Japanese NOT attacking Pearl Harbor, and all of the atrocities they committed after that or in China for years prior to it. There is no putting the Genie back into the bottle. Pandering to those who think it is possible is the worst solution for that will make it a certainty.

yeah, wrap the whole safe in metal, but ground the metal as much as possible. I would also suggest putting your DVDs inside a fireproof box inside the fireproof safe, for double protection.
oh, and yeah, put a laptop in there too like you said, but make sure it can play DVDs lol, and put a spare DVD drive in the safe with it.

EMP has no effect on CD's or DVD's.

It may destroy the dvd player though.

EMP is weaker than the field in your microwave.

However, a simple metal shield around your depository would suffice.

Are you serious?? I think that would be one of the last things you would be interested in saving (it hasn't done us much good)! Try saving food and uncontaminated water first!
