They even have an Anti Gravity day when they celebrate. It is the 21st of March the first day of Spring. They gather in the park for a pick nick and a Church outing. They celebrate by releasing helium filled colored balloons and they are giving rides this year in a helium filled blimp to let people experience anti Gravity. They seem to hold the fact that gravity does not exist and God is holding everything down as a major part of their religion. They say that is how God will have the rapture coming soon apparently. God will gust release the hold he has on every one and let them rise up into the sky in a glorious rapture to the promised land. does that sound reasonable to anyone? I'm withholding my judgment until after Church Sunday.

There is no harm in enjoying what may be enjoyable of it, especially what is worthy of appreciation in the people, but I would not join any such church as a member myself; such beliefs seem idolatrous at least.

Rapture is a state of ecstasy: to be enraptured. Air is the physical analog of spirit, being invisible, and yet being felt/experienced. The rapture of the bible is talking about people being in such joy from the release of selfishness into the freedom of contentment. Flying into the air actually is superstition, which I suppose you know.

Issac Newton, among others, believed that gravity was the effects of the all attracting force of God's love applied to material bodies in space. Their renouncing of science has left them bereft of some of religions most trustworthy proponents, including God, who if real as I trust, is the engendering of science, so disbelief in scientific fact is disbelief in any real God in favor of fantasy and superstition.

Religion and science must be at least amicable, and ideally reconciled. Hostility is neither of scientific open mindedness, nor religious morals, but is pure egotism, and going astray.

ok first..did u really want to go?
second its a nice idea u can float balloons in order to release the stresses of the world
third it sounds like fun if u like thrill seeking adventure.
but reality is what are their spiritual backing coming from.
im open minded but to a certain point of course.
to be honest with u it seems like a nice day at the park
no worldly distractions of course ur up in the air its a great time to enjoy the view, to pray or read ur scriptures

so take that in consideration and have fun.

yeah and the world was created in seven days, plus the earth is flat, the world is an illusion and god makes colour apear that way also, the rapture is more like a realisation of god more like.

is this to do with the anti christ???

Oh that is hilarious! Sounds like someone has already been inhaling too much helium! Just make sure not to drink any Kool Aid while you're there!

I believe in the rapture, and God is coming back. I have never heard of a church being anti-gravity before though, I would look into it... What kind of church is this?

Yes, Gravity is just a theory. They want to introduce the Theory of Intelligent Falling into classrooms alongside reglular physics ( you know, Newton, Bohr and Einstein) K

No there is no Bible or theology truth behind that, because only the church is being raptured, not the whole world.

They have it close. There is no such thing as gravity. But it is actually the FSM holding us all down with His millions of noodley appendages.
