To give you an idea, prices start at around $14,000 from Australia to Europe or the US with Qantas for a first class seat and business class is around $10,000. You can get much cheaper flights if you search around: you can fly from the east coast of Australia to Europe (in Business) with Cathay Pacific from around $6,000 + taxes or if you travel with with a friend, prices with Malaysian Airlines in Business Class start at $5,029 + taxes from the East Coast. Prices are similar for the US. For more details check out: http://www.bestflights.com.au/cgi-bin/04_201f/flights?mainlist

Remember, always book of a travel agent for business class deals where possible as they always have cheaper options and better fares than booking straight from the airlines website.
