There's no such thing! If you are having sex with a married partner, then you're having an affair. There is no levels to an affair. You don't start at level one and move on up. An affair is an affair no matter what.
Casual sex is not just that. Sex claims it can have no attachments but there always is! "No strings attached" as some might say but if you actually open your eyes, there's always a string.
Having sex with someone who isn't married isn't an affair. If the sex partner has a boyfriend or girlfriend -- it's cheating!!!! If the sex partner is single and you are having "just sex" then it's still a relationship. A sexual relationship. And it's definitely harder for women to have "just sex" relationships as they are full of emotions and hormones.

Its an affair from the get go, but an affair of the heart when there are real feelings involved. Trouble from start to finish.

Need more details....but if you are married and having sex with someone else on a regular basis i would say that it is definitely an affair.
