the originial Jews are darked skinned, and if you think logically Jesus was probably darked skinned too, he definatly was not white. so YOU think before you ask.

I carefully read everyone answer to your question and I was emotionally touch by the host of love in this world. They really put their faith and heart into knowing and expressing the truth. My feelings is that some didn't even believe in God, but yet they has given the true unity we all need that should be embedded in our heart.
Good and Bad comes in all colors, if there's anyone believes that one color is bad from the rest or good from the others that person is on worst drugs that anyone could ever imagine, because that person is living in a fantasy world.
God Bless

I'm always a little mystified by these questions about skin color. What is that to God, who made all people in His image? His will is that they be saved through Jesus Christ. As with anyone, they have the free will to accept or deny that.

Well, since Jesus's Skin was "as if Burnt in a Furance".
Revelations 1: 1, 13-15
13And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Then, I think God's will is for Jesus's people, "Including those as dark as he was", be saved if they believe.
God looks at the heart of man, not like Man who has respect of persons based on the outer appearance.

Why should melanin count mean anything?
No need to think at all. God/Allah loves us all regardless of colour. It is the state of the soul that matters.
The body is just an envelope that the soul puts on, as we put on a different suit of clothing each day. Colour of the body is absolutely irrelevant when it is the state of the soul that matters to God.

It is the SAME for EVERYONE...
Acts 2:37 When the people heard this, their hearts were filled with shame. They said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”
38 Peter replied, “All of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then your sins will be forgiven. You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children. It is also for all who are far away. It is for all whom the Lord our God will choose.”

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).
