Momma cats are very protective of their young. Keep her and her babies separated from the others. Otherwise, you're going to have some vet bills and some injured animals. The other animals may even want to hurt the babies. Don't chance it. Momma cat should have her own space...complete with litter box and food/water. Then, when babies are 8 weeks old and after they're adopted out, have all your animals spayed and neutered. You won't have this problem again.

It's known as nature. Daaa. Ma cat is protecting the kittens and a bit of hell breakes loose because any new addition to the clutter (and you have a clutter of cats...like a pride of lions) a new order has to be established. By the way, how many of your cats have been neutered or spayed? If the answer is "none", good luck. Nature will run wild. And so it goes. You can try separation from the other cats, but eventually the kittens will have to integrate into the clutter. Get used to it. Cats find their own equilibrium, and there is nothing you can do to change that!

All mother cats protect there kittens. Sometimes all it takes is one upset cat to have all of the cats going at it. I should know as I have 8 cats that have all been fixed. Try and keep the other cats away from the mother. Things will settled down, but you really should have your cats fixed as cats sure do multiply quickly. Enjoy your kitties as they are so sweet when little.

She is protecting her babies. She feels threatened by the other cats. I would just leave them alone unless they are hurting one another and let them work it out within themselves. Otherwise, if you could keep their presence around the mama and babies to a minimum that would be great.

Keep momma cat and her kittens separated from the other cats. Momma cat's instinct is to protect her kittens and she will attack other cats that come near.

The Mom is just protecting her young. You should probably have an area the other female can stay in. Any Mom with babies is going protect her young any way she can.

She's protecting her babies. Maybe it's time to put her in a separate room with food, litter and water and keep the door closed so she won't feel threatened.

Mom is trying to protect her litter, and yes you should separate them so you don't have a punctured cat.
