Your English is great!
I lived in Hawaii for 2 years when I was a child.
I can not come to China for a visit, but I do watch some on the TV programs that show portions of your beautiful country.
If you don't mind talking to an older lady, I would love to get better acquainted with you and your country.

You seem like a nice girl and I wouldn't mind helping you improve your English. However, I would be tempted to explain how the real world is little like your government edited textbooks or teachers say it is. And that would be illegal (for you, not for me). Before you say that I couldn't possibly understand because I'm not Chinese, remember it was your teacher who told you westerners can't Chinese culture. We're not morons, we're capable of understanding.
Although I love Shichuan and Hunan food and have many friends in China, I would never want to go there again unless I had to, at least not while people still spit everywhere and the dirty air burns your eyes. But thanks for the offer.

There's one thing I've always wanted to know about China though. Maybe you could ask your teacher. What does Socialism with Chinese characteristics mean?

i'd be more than glad to help you with your english, though it seems pretty good thus far, and i would object to learning some chinese; unfortunately, i cant afford to attend the games, but maybe at a later date, i could visit your country.
