I wont stop coughing what could help besides medicine?? anything would help please! Its been going on for 6 weeks i have a tickle in my throat it wont go away and when i cough i cough hard. Please help!!

shot of whiskey will help . here is a recipe that will help to kinda like a hot tottie
i shot of whiskey
2 tbs warm lemon juice to 1 tbs honey warmed up mix in whiskey and drink .
Also try putting a humidifier in the room it might be dry air and allergens . Good luck

I went to the doc this week for that and I have pneumonia. I think it may be time to make an appt. A prescription cough medicine with codeine will do the trick!

Have you seen a doctor? I have had two family members who went through these spells and each ended up breaking a rib from the non-stop coughing. I wish I had a better answer. Get well soon!

I have had the same problem too and have tried gargling with salt water or if that doesn't work try mouthwash with achohol in it that seemed to help me enough for me to get some sleep.

It's either allergies or acid reflux. Go to your doctor so that he can refer you to a specialist. ASAP. Hope you feel better soon.
