The right amount is the number you feel comfortable with. It is how many you and your spouse want to have, not how any society thinks you should have. If you want and can afford and handle a large family, go for it, if you only want one or two, that is fine also.

Depends on their emotional, financial, and relationship stability. Do they both have the same ideas on child-rearing? Do they have agood support system of friends and family?
If all of these factors are good, I'd go for 2 or 4. Not 3, because my middle friends have felt cheated.

There is no "right" number of kids to have. The right number is what is decided between two people who intend on raising those children.

2, maybe 3. If you have 1 then the kid becomes spoiled. If you have too many then you can't give enough individual attention to each kid.

As many as your heart desires and you can afford. This is a very personal decision. I know families with just one kid who are very happy, and i have friends who adopted 9 kids, would gladly take in more; and they are very happy as well. Me personally... the more the better... i love children!

in my opinion the tops is 4 (but my grandma had 8 LOL!)
