It would make it easier on those of us who would like to help if they posted the country they are from, since every country's regulations are different.

Egocentric and sterotypes have absolutly nothing to do with my question. How can I give you advice on a lost passport or provide you a link if you leave out what country it was issued in. It's like me asking a question about the layout of an airport but fail to tell you what airport I will be in. You can't answer a question without all the facts.

I sure do hate that. There is a tendency to be skimpy on details in ALL questions. But you are right, I run across lots of questions regarding crossing national borders where Country of origin is relevant and they don't bother to say.

If there are a lot of questions that night I skip over those and head to the clear questions with sufficient information.
