camera experts i need help?

i got this lik 2 ft long lens thats made by bausch & lomb & i was wondering what canon camera i should get. Grant it i am a beginner but im goin 2 keep it for a long time so i want the best highest quality camera canon has. im talkin bout lik the rebel & the e 0s or w.e. but not the reg digital cameras, the ones professional photgraphers use. please tell me the best 1 canon makes that is not over 2 grand thx
