I have long brown hair with kind of a long skinny face.

Shoulder length hair is not 'short'. Short is generally considered to be chin length or shorter. Get what you want, it sounds really cute.

no way. Short hair can be sexier than long hair. I don't know how old you are, but as you get older, say past college, shorter hair is so much better because it's easier to manage and look professional. And because there's not so much weight, it's easier to style in a lot of different ways. And shoulder length isn't "short" anyway... definately medium length :-)

If you have a long skinny face you want your hair to have lots of body to balance your look. If that means going shoulder length then do it. My husband loves long hair which I wore for over 10 years, but when I took mine to my shoulders to get rid of split ends and some of its weight to show its natural waves he loved it even though he didn't think he would. So go for it...If you don't like it just remember, IT'S ONLY HAIR, IT WILL GROW BACK. Just don't do a Britney and you'll be OK.

A short hairstyle can be very attractive if it's done right. Sometimes just changing your look will make people take another look at you, and the attention is always nice.
I'm a guy and I like short hair on a woman.

most guys like long hair... but if you have long/medium hair now.. and you get the cut & change your look a little, that ALWAYS gets the guys attention. besides, it's hair, it really does grow back. As cliche as it may sound, a good guy that deserves you is gonna like you for YOU, not the lenght of your hair- so go for it!
