When I leave on my trip to Northern Ireland, will I need any other forms of ID other than my passport? Is there anything else I need to know when traveling to the UK that would be useful?

Nope, just your passport. Me and the fam went to Scotland, 2 years ago. We rented a camper/motorhome.The website is www.motorhomesworldwide.com . It was great, because they give you a map, with all of the campsites in Scotland so you are free to roam, and don't have to check in or out of hotel. We took my step daughter and my son, so we didn't need to get 2 hotel rooms and we had a mini kitchen with a stove/fridge/sink. We could go all over the place without unpacking and repacking our stuff. My hubby drove, and he did fine with driving on the other side of the road. It was great. Also Iceland air or is it Icelandic air is the cheapest airfare. You can stay over for a few hours in Iceland, and a shuttle will take you to the Blue Lagoon for free. it is a huge geothermal swimming something or other. I can't decribe it...you have to put Iceland Blue Lagoon in a websearch. We went at the end of May/early June and it rained alot but still was gorgeous. Skye, Scotland is a must to see, it is beautiful, and the Lochs and the castles are cool. nancy.shoffner@gmail.com if you have anymore questions.

Your passport is good enough. When you're on the road be sure to protect your passport and all your valuables. Keep credit cards, plane tickets (if they're paper tickets) and extra money in a money belt. Here's our page on changing money and keeping it safe: http://www.mousetourstravels.com/money.html
