Always the first to say,"He/She's ugly!"..or "He's/She's good looking!"? And why is it always the people that brag about their looks that aren't verygood looking at all?....Does anyone else notice this?

Its like cars. Only the people who don't have Ferraris will have posters of them in the bedroom. The guy who actually own them keep them in the garage. You alway talk about what you don't have.

I beleive, people have this funny way of looking at things, people are very jealous, and they hate their flaws more than anything else... so when they find a good person who feels good about himself, they want to make the other feel like they have the worst defect ever... which is THEIRS!!
and what this same people want the most is, perfection, and most of the people t hink perfection only comes with being beautiful, so they start hating what they really are, and start assuming what they really want, which is being beautiful, and they feel even better saying that the others are not beautiful at all...

I like to comment on babies(I know you think its mean but everybody thinks their own kids are the cutest)does this make you think I am compansating for ugly children? Cause people stop me in stores and stuff all the time just to tell me how beautiful my kids are & that they look just like me!
Am I now compensating for my own uglyness?

Maybe they find criticizing people making them feel good about them selves and yeah they may know they are unattractive themselve but i guess criticizing others keeps people from focusing on their unattractive looks.

Try to boost their own self-confidence or they don't have anything better to do with their time except bring others down. I've noticed since elementary school; not news to me!

because they want to distract you from their ugliness to point out the flaws of others
because they don't see others for the positive aspects
because they are ugly on the inside as well
because they have low self esteem

Well speaking as a fat ugly middle aged guy myself, i can say its because us ugly people don't have anything else to do. Its not like we have an outstanding social life or anything. So we basically have to come up with things to do with our time.
