If you're referring to Brule, Wisconsin, the Brule River on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan, Brule, Nebraska, or Brule Lake in Alberta, it is pronounced "brool".

If it's the branch of the Sioux tribe, or Gilbert Brulé, the NHL player, it's "broo-lay".
