Most likely.
It would have been highly unusual for a man his age NOT to be married at that time and in that culture. It's likely one of the gospel writers would have mentioned it if he were not married.
edit -- "the most documented figure in history"??? We know almost NOTHING about his life from age 12 to 33. Who are you kidding?

Neither does the Bible say that he liked to drink long island ice teas in the summers on Pluto.
The Bible does however mentions Jesus' family many times and it certainly had every opportunity to reveal his wife if he had one. The problem is you cannot read into history what is not there. If youre going to prove something historically, then you need to have positive evidence for it. There are no sources that allege that Jesus was married. This is simply fiction spawned from a misinterpretation of the hole-ridden "Gospel of Judas."
We can be certain that the Bible was not changed because we have over 5000 manuscript copies (more than any other ancient document) and they have less than a 1% variance. If the Bible were truly unreliable, we would be seeing a different Gospel the earlier the manuscript but that simply isnt the case. That is only a dumb assumption made by people that dont believe it to begin with.

No, he was not married.
Look at it this way. Was it a sin to be married? No! Then if it was not a sin to be married, Jesus would not have been committing any sin at all if he had married. If he had married, the bible would have included it because it would have held significance (if you believe in Brown's bloodline story). Jesus came to earth with a specific purpose, to die for our sins. Although he was 100% human, he was also 100% divine. He knew why he was here. He fulfilled his purpose which was prophesied in the Old Testament (which also makes no hint at all to him being married or having children) and then he went back to heaven, which is definetly a better place than here, and is going to be coming back to fulfill prophecy of the New Testament. Its very simple really. Being married and having children would not have been a sin, so, why not mention it then?
The Bible is the only book that has stayed the same in the message it carries for approx. over 4000 years in the Old Testament and over 2000 years for the New Testament. If the Old Testament was not true, Jesus would have said so. If the New Testament carried any lies and was inaccurate, don't you think that people who were still living and witnessed all that is said in the New Testament about Jesus, would have made a stink about it? Not even those that hated Jesus or was against him denied it. Example, the records of Pilate even confirm the cruxifiction details. Why would those that died for their belief, and horrible deaths at that, do so if it were not true? There are many HISTORICAL accounts of Biblical writings that confirm the writings as true as well. I am 100% positive that the writings and the message of the Bible is accurate today, just the same as it was written originaly. The other scrolls that did not get put in the bible is BECAUSE there was enough knowledge of accounts from people that were witnesses, or short period relatives or friends of witnesses, that they were know not to be inspired by God or truth from the mouth of Jesus.
Oh, BTW, Satan lies!

I think that your question is actually unanswerable. Unless you are rigidly religious, you would most likely have some doubts as to whether Jesus of the Bible actually existed since the stories of the New Testament were written after his death or after his life on earth ended (however you want to view it). There are several persuasive nonfiction books which posit and attempt to prove the theory that Jesus did indeed marry Mary Magdalen and that they had a daughter; two of those books are "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" and "The Templar Revelation" (which I have read). They are both convincingly and meticulously researched. I also have seen several History Channel programs which were designed to explore the premises of Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" which is fiction but similar in its concept to the books cited above. On one of the History Channel's programs an attempt to produce DNA evidence either to support or disprove the existence of a direct line from Jesus was attempted with the result that it seemed to be disproved, although, of course, they had no actual DNA from Jesus, but rather some which they collected from people living in the area where he might have resided. They compared that with DNA from a Merovingian corpse(supposedly the royal line of descent from Jesus and Mary Magdalen) and found no match. In the final analysis, however, everyone will believe whatever they want, and nothing will likely be proven that will be regarded as incontrovertible truth!

Jesus is married to Israel (the land). He will one day (as promise) come back to claim her in the midst of building a new heaven. The church is also His bride, and we are the children of His church. When He proclaim those who believe in Him we shall be within His new kingdom.
The son of God comes to bring us to salvation and the good news from heaven. The long past of the prophets in the old testament begins the new testament of coming of Jesus Christ. His teaching and healing and mostly paying the price for our sins has shown the love from Lord Jesus Christ.
People wonder why God have not made himself known upon this earth and yet, He does many time, every day! There are people who chose not to believe, and partly due because of the great battle of Lucifer's will.
God's authority is very strong within our hearts, and He wouldn't allow anyone tamper wrongfully with His own words of the Bible. If God allows the Bible to be tamper, and then it would a waist time to give our faith in him! We would follow a false God!
This is the reason why some churches have their own Bible, because they can't tamper with the Holy Word of God. So man creates his version, and what's worst the false preacher what's us to obey his own new religion. This is the reason why many churches are at odd because of their own doctrine.
When you compare it with the Holy Bible you'll read the contradiction in it!
A few words like ye, shall, cometh, basically speaks of the same in the Bible. Ye, becomes; you or they or I. Shall, becomes; should, or would, and Cometh: come, bring, brought etc...
God Bless

No, Jesus was not married. Because the Bible says He wasn't. As for how we are certain that the Bible has not changed over the numerous amount of years, we have the archeology findings that prove that it hasn't changed.

No, the bible doesn't speak of it and the bible has not been changed, you can get a bible far back as history has it and see that God's word is the same yesterday, today and today, there are just different versions, with easier to understand words, but it's the same and the bible says what is, was and will be.........

No, Jesus Christ was not married. A recent popular book, "The Da Vinci Code," speaks of Christ being married to Mary Magdalene. This myth / lie is absolutely false and has no basis theologically, historically, or Biblically. While a couple of the "Gnostic gospels" mention Jesus having a close relationship with Mary Magdalene, none of them specifically states that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene, or had any romantic involvement with her. The closest any of them come is saying that Jesus kissed Mary Magdalene, which just as easily could be a reference to a “friendly kiss.” Further, even if the Gnostic gospels directly stated that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene, that would not have any authority, as the Gnostic gospels have all been proven to be forgeries invented to create a Gnostic view of Jesus.
If Jesus had been married, the Bible would have told us so - or there would be some unambiguous statement to that fact. Scripture would not be completely silent on such an important issue. The Bible mentions Jesus’ mother, adoptive father, brothers, and sisters. Why would it neglect to even mention the fact that Jesus had a wife? Those who believe / teach that Jesus was married are doing so in an attempt to "humanize" Him, to make Him more ordinary - like everyone else. People simply do not want to believe that Jesus was God in the flesh (John 1:1,14; 10:30). So, they invent and believe myths about Jesus being married, having children, and being an ordinary human being.
A secondary question would be, "Could Jesus Christ have been married?" There is nothing sinful about being married. There is nothing sinful about having sexual relations in marriage. So, yes, Jesus could have been married and still be the sinless Lamb of God, the Savior of the world. At the same time, there is no reason Biblically that Christ would have married. That is not the point in this debate. Those who believe that Jesus was married do not believe that He was sinless, or that He was the Messiah. Getting married and having children is not why God sent Jesus. Mark 10:45 tells us why Jesus came, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many."

no, because the bible was written by God through men. He cant have just left something out. its not logical. And if jesus was God which is exactly what i believe, he couldnt of gotten married/ had children. It would mean that he would be ginving into humanly temptations. Hes got it NOT possible. He was not even tempted by the devil why would a woman tempt him?
may God bless you and eveyone you love!

Jesus was one of the most popular names at the time of Christ's birth, as were the names of both of his parents, there were several people with the same name, and parental names in that era, and distinguishing among them is a task for historians.
It's honestly like trying to differentiate between every James smith in America.
*There are 50,214 people in the U.S. named James Smith.
Edit* Coincidentally there are:
There are 6 people in the U.S. named Jesus Christ.
