how do you get that shiny look?
give me the steps of how to get tight curls?

i have hear past my ears. im black. thick hair.

after you've washed it try taking sections and twisting them tightly then pinning them to your head - it works with my hair which is thick, worth a try as it won't cost you anything but do it when you haven't got to go out anywhere in case it looks silly when it's dry.

other than that you could try curling tongs?
