I posted a question about this half-asking out situation I have, here is a link:

To sum up the question, a guy at work I have a crush on told me I should see this movie, said he wants to see it and hasn't yet, said he's trying to fit it in between working, but didn't actually ask me, and I didn't ask him.
I've decided that I should say something about it tomorrow at work
should I go upto him tomorrow and be like
"so, have you seen that movie yet?"
and when he says he hasn't [obviously], would it be okay to be like
"we should see it together, it looks good"
and just let it go from there, maybe sugest a day that we both have off from work?
I'm not good at this kind of thingggg. I'm scared :[
All help is appreciated more than you can imagine!

I say that's a fabulous start. If you begin by opening it, then it gives him the sort of opening to go ahead and say yeah or no. He'd be silly to pass it up, but it could possibly be that he infact is trying out the first move as in suggesting it to you in a small way, gauging your reaction, and then he may be planning to now go on from their or wait for you to take a turn/move

You already have your answer. Give it to him just like that. I'm sure that he'll jump at the chance to go watch the movie with you. Good luck

That actually sounds like a pretty good approach. The worst he can do is say no, and then you'll at least know where you stand.

Stop over-analyzing!

And yes, what you've planned out sounds fine.
