Most of the religious extremists don't like gays. It's not a Utah thing, it's a religious thing.

Mormons do not hate homosexuals; they simply abhor the practice of such an aberrant life style.
You have not specified any rule or argument to base your question. Has the state of Utah made laws and penalties thereof against practicing homosexuality? I don't think the state has yet fallen in the same class as California, Vermont, and Massachusetts in their acceptance of same-sex marriage.

I think Utah is about average in their acceptance of gays. I think there are much worst states than Utah for their acceptance of gays.

Are you gay and in Utah? A couple who are friends of mine are gay and live in Utah... they are treated kindly by all.....
Edit: In fact: the more flamboyant one is wildly popular...

As a gay guy, I've found that most folks, unless they are closed minded, don't care about what I do or with whom. A program I know says live and let live, as long as it is healthy, happy and holy.

I would think it would be the other way around, then the men who want 14 wives would have less competition.

Well, thinking people know homosexuality is an affront to the creator.
Society accepts it more and more thanks to the media and quite frankly, the debauchery of the people.
