Your mum is right. Give it two more days, then go see a doctor. Fluid intake is crucial though - you need to be drinking more than 2 litres a day since its all coming out. Try lucozade - its high in sugars which will give you energy. Also try taking 200& of the Recomended daily allowance of Vitamins A, D and E, and 100% RDA of Vitamin C. Only keep that for as long as you are ill.

try to Drink your favorite Drink that always helps me to keep it down instead of trying to Drink what is best for you. The point is to keep fluid in you. you may have the flu and there isn't much you can do about it. You probably won't be able to see the Dr this weekend but if you are not better on Monday see if your mom will take you to the dr. if you are getting headaches try to take Tylenol and see if that helps it should also help with the chills and fever.

You need to see the doctor as soon as possible. You are suffering from a infection which can be viral, protoazoal or can be bacterial.Your doctor might ask for stool examnination to determine the cause of the diorhoea before he starts treatment.Chills indicate a fever.
You need to be treated with medication, and the infection is not self limiting.

Yes it's serious since your not able to keep anything down and your having diarrhea, you run the risk of becoming seriously dehydrated. You should definately see a doctor if your not able to even drink water.
