If she's only getting it for a special event for one day I would reccomend wefted hair extensions. They're not as versatile has fusion or cold press but its a good cheap alternative for someone who's only using it for a couple days or so (special event). They're VERY low maintinence.

Since the wedding is less than a month away ask around for referrals. NOW is the time to start calling around to different salons and setting up consultations. Ask for LOTS of pictures and ask that salon or stylist for referrals, you don't want them to jack up her hair. ASK LOTS of questions. If they answer in a way that makes you feel comfortable go with them. Ask for quote in writing and ask if blending cut is needed so that the extensions won't be detectable.

I would say do it yourself but I don't know how good you are when it comes to the basics of hair (parting/sectioning) etc b/c if you know how to do those the rest is pretty simple. But since this is a VERY special event I would go to a professional. I guess you can just ask the salon or stylist to look at the website that I listed as a source and show them that that is the type of extensiont that you want. DO NOT let them talk you into single strand. Like I said if its a one time only thing don't waste your time or money on that particular method.

You can try http://www.hairextensionsnetwork.com to start your search for hair extensions artists in your area to set up consultations. If you do a google or yahoo search I'm sure you can find some more salon listings.

Good luck and have fun at the wedding.

a sow - in is better and safer. the clip-on is good too but you dont have to worry about the hair falling out. i guess it depends on how much partying she is going to do. go to the beauty supply store for the hair or ask a hair stylist. he or she should know. Human hair is the best to me. it looks more natural.
