Technically you could do it either way. But its best for the doctor who originally wrote the prescription to determine whether its working for you appropriately, whether you should be switched to another medication, and how long you should remain on it.

enable your everyday be attentive to whats occurring with you so some distance as a diagnosis and what meds you have been placed on. Im particular he will pick to be attentive to. so some distance as refilling your scripts, i could think of that the customary practitioner who gave them to you could be the only tracking you and refilling if he feels you pick them.

if you want to keep seing this mental doctor, then always refill it using the med # he prescribed.
If you go to your reg doc, he will try to take over the medicatrion refills by re writing them. If you dont want him to be in control of them, dont refill them from him but keep using the old refill # from the original doc that gave them .
you will have to keep seeing that other doc if you want him to refill year after year. if not then let your reg doc do it.
