Well, I'm not entirely sure WHY he wants his body preserved in amber, but he's not dying anytime soon, is he? Give him time, he'll probably decide to have something else done with his body. Meh, even if he doesn't, it's not THAT big a deal, is it?

That's cool! He wants to be a really good find for a scientist later. What's the harm? If the spirit is gone, the shell is nothing, right? How old is he? I would wager he's a young adult. If I didn't want to have every usable bit harvested for transplant or study then I think that would be the way to go.

Definitely different and it will help the next dominant species to try and figure out what all these human bones are about. I suspect, however, that the authorities are going to put lots of obstacles in the way so he'd better start the legal proceedings now so that he will have permission by the time he dies.

Wonder if you can really have that done....

I have to admit---that is a neat idea! I love amber, and it would be a pretty nice way to go.
