Advantages? What should I look for in a place that offers it? What should make me run straight out the door?

Of course it's a matter of opinion, but in mine, it would be a resounding "yes!" It's super clean and super comfy, most guys go crazy over it, and it lasts a while—about a month. Also, when it grows back in, the stubble isn't all scratchy like with shaving. But yeah, it hurts, although it gets less painful the more you have it done, because the hair tends to grow back finer.
Like any other beauty treatment—just look for a good quality, reputable salon. It'll probably cost you about $50-$60, depending on where you live.
Oh, also—you can't shave for a few weeks before, because you need about 1/4 inch of hair for the wax to grab onto. And I would NOT recommend doing it yourself, unless you really enjoy pain.

Its a big expense after awhile because obviously it only lasts a few days before you can start seeing it all again, so between the pain, the embarrassment and the money its really not worth it. The only time it'd be a thing to do is if you're going to be spending all day in a bathing suit on vacation or something but for all year round its a waste.

It's worth it, now you wear a nice thong without having to worry about hair.

not really!! it is really painful and hair grows back. shave and use bikini zone and its almost the same thing. the only plus to that is you can do it in the privacy of your own home and no one has to see you're who-ha.

No Hair at all... what makes you run....uuffff the pain you feel once they pull your hair.

yes fully worth it.....you will never feel so clean and fresh.......it doesn't hurt as much as people say.....it costs me $35 just make sure your beautician holds your skin taught......good luck :)

do it!!! its great!!! but very PAINFUL!!! i just did it for a photo shoot in greece, and it leaves a really nice skin. (im not gay, im a model, i HAVE to take care of my skin)
