On CNN this morning they showed a woman with cerebral palsy whose service dog takes money out of the ATM for her. It's not like the dog is putting in the card and punching in the PIN. The dog evidently wasn't taught how, just took the money from the ATM for its owner. Good service dog.

My service dog is trained to pick up dropped objects or objects on low shelves. He also can carry my purse or wear a pack, get my phone on command, take something to my husband or son. But I don't think I'd give him my ATM card...he loves gourmet dog treats and puppies.

That's a new one for me and I've seen lots of amazing things they've trained animals to help disabled people on Animal Planet.

I've trained dogs, and never for that. It's pretty doubtful anyway considering dogs can't read. I'm sure they'll have braille ATM's before that happens.

I wouldn't give my dog my PIN number because I would hate to pay for hundreds of tennis balls and milk bones
