Those who choose the gay way may have similar characteristics in earlier years. But so do career criminals. Peoples lives are made up of experiences we encounter and the environment we are placed into and choices that we make through it all. I think it's wrong that, now, because of the untruthful evidence of being born 'this way', young boys and girls who have these characteristics will probably be led to embrace this sinful lifestyle.

One final bit of truth: IF, and I mean IFI had gay temptations, as a christian, I would fight these FEELINGS (thats all they are) and resist it all the days of my life and I would be victorious over the gay feelings 'cause the bible says that He has made me more than a conqueror. Now, I like everybody or try to, and am not mean spirited in this question. I just wanted to point out that being born that way doesn't make it right.

I don't understand your question, but I do think throwing stones back and forth will solve nothing, and only make people angry and divisive.

Jimguyy......Sounds like you are having trouble with feelings that you don't understand.
I know you are fighting these tendencies and have been told by people that they are unnatural. It must be a terrible position to be in.
Take solice in the fact that the "lies" are actually starting to be proven by science. Recently a study was performed on rams that found that there is differences in the brain structure of rams that prefer the companionship of other males vs females. This is turning out to be the same in humans and most other mammals that exibit "gay" tendencies.
I can tell by your question that you feel the need to attack gay people as liers, this tells me that you are struggling with gay feelings of your own and feel the need to attack what you believe is the source of these guilty thoughts. Don't worry it is just your brain structure.
I think you will find a different catagory that you will feel more comfortable in the lifestyle section...
Good luck and keep swallowing.

Isn't funny how some people can't see what's in front of them? I'm not gay, but I grew up with a woman who is a lesbian. When we were in kindergarten, I thought she was a boy until picture day because her mother made her wear a dress. All through elementary school she played with the boys and pretty much ignored the girls. She'd talk to us but never got too excited about Barbie and such. We didn't think much about it––just thought it was her personality or how she just was. Then, when she came out 15 years ago, we all thought it made sense. My point is it is something they are born with because in 1968 five year-olds wouldn't have been making a sexual orientation choice.

Exactly. I'll never forget the day when I consciously chose my sexual orientation. I sat down, thought about it, and weighed all my options. Then I was ready to make an informed decision.
Hey, man, let me ask you this. When you were calculating the probabilities of success that you would have if you were either gay or straight -- like we all do when we're choosing our sexual orientation -- how did you do it? I made a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, but I hear some people prefer to do the math on paper.

So gay people CHOOSE to go through all the violence that happens as a result of homophobia? If choosing were so easy, why wouldn't they choose NOT to do it in the first place and avoid all the trouble?
Wanna back up your argument with how being born gay is a lie?

Why in the world God would make someone "gay"?!?! Since it is an abomination in the eyes of God.
Leviticus 20:13
(ESV, English Standard Version)
13If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.
I Corinthians 6:9
(ESV, English Standard Version)
9Do you not know that the unrighteous[a] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,[b]
Footnotes:
[a] I Corinthians 6:9 Or wrongdoers
[b] I Corinthians 6:9 The two Greek terms translated by this phrase refer to the passive and active partners in consensual homosexual acts

What? You don't choose your sexual orientation. Science has proven that. There is something called SRY on the chromosomes of the gametes which is related to sexual orientation. I don't have time to explain this to people who are stuck in the misconceptions of 50 years ago, but I highly suggest that you get informed and do some research instead of throwing around such homophobic statements.

no its not funny because you can't prove otherwise. I think its funny that heterosexual people think their opinions on a subject they know nothing about is law. I dont personally know one gay person who woke up one morning and said hmmm i think i'll be gay and live my life as a second class citizen. I'm glad you find humor in being closed minded, it gives me something to laugh at.

The only people who think they know everything about gay individuals, have never raised a gay child or had a gay sibling!!! So get a life and stop flapping your jaws about things you know nothing about!! You "know it alls" must think you are perfect because you are straight.

I actually think it's funny that people actually think that someone CHOOSES to live their life ostracized by society, discriminated against legally and personally, and abused and hated for no good reason by people like you.
