I have two English Bulldogs, 1 male and 1 female, who I paid $2,000 and $2,500 for, from Champion show breed-lines. I know this sounds like a lot, but you get what you pay for. If you must get an English Bulldog, you don't want one that is cheap because they have so many health and genetic problems, and they're hard to treat/fix, and very expensive as well. If it's too much money for you to afford to purchase one, consider that the medical care can far surpass this purchase price, and consider adopting a mutt!

From a reputable breeder, $1500+. The price is so high because it is very expensive to breed them and they do not have very many puppies. Bullies have to be artificially inseminated (which costs about $500) and then they have to have a c-section to deliver the puppies (that costs at least $800), not to mention how expensive the parents cost.

Just a warning: there have been many ads in local newspapers online and some puppy websites are getting ads on them for free bulldog puppies you just pay the shipping. They are scams. You will send them a $400+ money order and never receive a puppy. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is.

the vet i work for breeds english, he sells his (limited $1500, which means you can't breed it ) and unlimited around $2000.if you are considering buying one, expect to pay at least $1500 but be sure to ask to see the mother and father of the pup to make sure they look okay, ask for vet records, ask about demodex, (red mange) this is hereditery and is not contagious, it can be controlled but a dog under stress can have outbreaks quite often. also ask for bloodlines and any information the breeder can give you aboout their dogs. also understand english bulldogs are prone to yeast infections, entropian(eye problems, they can be very expensive to take care of. good luck. hope this helps

The cheapest ive seen them is 1200.00 here in CA. But depending on what quality you want you can pay as much as 2500. Maybe more. The reason these dogs are so expensive is because they are not born naturally. They are born cesarian. Theyre heads are too broad. But they are sooooooooooooo cute and definitely worth it:)

With a breed like this, do not go cheap. There is so much that can genetically go wrong with these dogs. Please be sure that you are dealing with a reputable breeder that has a health guarantee. I have seen good puppies in the $1500-$2000 range.

There is not a set price. It depends on so much. Show quality? Pedigree? Co-own, breeding rights... There are a million different things that would effect the price of a dog.

What does 'supposed to cost' mean?
Do you think there is a blue book for dogs?

i think 800 to 1000...this is because most have to have c-section because of the big heads...and they only carry 1-3 pups.
