It can be a lot of fun growing up and being around each other all the time. But then there is still the individual attitudes and personalities that each other possess and can get on the other kids nerves, there can even be hate. I have one brother, two sisters and a step sister and only really speak to my brother after being grown up because we all are different and have had arguements over the years and stay away from each other. Fate choses your family you chose your friends, that's what it's all about.

I have an older brother then I am the middle child and then I have a younger sister. At times it could be Hell because of the bickering and all the other crapy stuff that comes with having siblings, but most of the time it's a great feeling to know that they are there! And that they love me just as I am, even if everyone in the world can't appreciate the gem that I am!!! :)

I’m the oldest of 7. As the oldest, I grew up way too fast (lots of responsibilities/expectations) and missed out on a lot of my childhood, because (out of necessity) I spent my entire childhood being a mini-mom. There was VERY LITTLE money for any extras. The younger brothers and sisters rarely got anything new (always hand-me-downs). NONE of us had any privacy. The house was always noisy (made it hard to study/concentrate or even watch TV). And one-on-one time with Mom and Dad RARELY happened, and when it did, it was only for a very short time.
Now I have 2 kids, and that’s plenty for me. My family was actually shocked when I had kids, because for years I swore, “I’m not having any, because I’ve already helped raise 6.”

i was an only child until my fathers girlfriend and her three kids moved in. i was about 14ish. two brothers younger than me and a sister 1 year older we all got along real well. we talked alot really enjoyed and then in the blink it all came crashing down when we lost my youngest brother (10 yearsold) it completely destroyed the family and after that we all dont get along. i still talk to my other brother when i see him at family functions its really sad. i hate to see a tight nit family shredded like that.

I have a younger half-sister (from my mother) that I grew up with, and a younger half-brother (from my birth father) that I never met. And older step-brothers and -sisters from my (step)father's first marriage, whom I rarely saw.
At any rate, it was my mom, my dad, me, and my younger sister. My sister and I had plenty of fights and didn't hesitate to hit me with a phone receiver a few times--and receivers on those rotary dial phones are heavy compared to cordless!
On the plus side, you have a companion and a confidante.

o lord. having a 12 year old brother is ANNOYING. He acts w/out thinking of the concequences tht will happen. He does stupid things other ppl do, thinking it's 'cool'. idk. its really hard to control him being so immature. u'll just be annoyed and want to smack him. at leats u wn't hav n e one in ur biz while on the phone either. the ONLY time my bro is quiet, is wen he EATING. & because he's here, things are broken up into smaller parts for me. i gess im really greedy.
but, there are also good aspects of having my lil brother here. i love him very dearly. and at times, we tlk to each other to get things out. as we grow older we learn from each other and our mistakes. i always have some one ther 2 be w/, to not be bored. having one more to love than just your mother and father feels great. im glad he's here w/me! ;D
It's good 2 dream of having a brother or sister. but if it makes u sad, then dn't think bout it 2 much becus u mite worry your parents seeing you sad about it. [if u are sad bout it, that is]

I come from a family of nine siblings. We shared everything. That means hand-me-down clothes, shared bedrooms, toys, chores, closets. You name it, we shared it. But we have a lot of good memories and I wouldn't change them for the world. You share stories and secrets with your sisters. You fight with your brothers. You grow up loving them all.

i have a brother (yonger) he can be really nice, and other days he can be really annoying. people have different opinions, id rather would of liked to have an older syboling but its nice to have a yonger one too because they can look up to you. its also nice to be an only child, because u get all the attention.
