What I normally do is after I wash it I put a anti frizz serum in then I pull it into a pony tail smoothing it down the best I can. I always try to let it air dry if I can. (less frizz). Then when the roots are dry I will dry the rest of the ends with low/med heat.
Then I flat iron it. I know it sounds like a lot of work but I only wash my hair every 3 days or so. Good luck I know it can be frustrating at times.

the easiest thing to do would be to straighten them with a flat iron. if you don't wash your hair, the results will last for days. hopefully you would only have to do it a couple of times until you have the money and time to do it permanently.

i would not recommend using a perm or home straightening kit to do it at home, especially if you're going to make it to the salon in a week or two. not only could this turn out diastrously, but when you go in to get your outgrowth done, it may not react well with the straightener they use in the salon. also, you would be causing unnecessary damage to your hair.

if you don't have a flat iron, a curling iron could also be used to smooth out the outgrowth.

just take 1/4 to 1/2 inch sections and starting at the scalp (don't burn yourself) close the iron on the hair and drag it down slowly to the part that is staright already. when you get there, make sure the hair is not bent in the iron so that it makes a kink. it may take a few tries. a flat iron works best.

well, hope that helps. good luck!

Get a flat iron. Or, better yet, a straighting comb. It's a comb that you plug into the outlet, it heats up, and you can comb your hair straight really close to the roots. The only thing is, excessive sweating will make it curl right back up, so it your gonna go play tennis or something, it would be a waste of time to use it. Just make sure you put some type of oil or sheen on it first, cause that thing will fry you hair, just like a flat iron or curling iron.

Hair grows fast and after its been relaxed new growth comes in. If its been more than 2 to 3 weeks you can do a touch-up where u relax only your roots and edges which is what ur supposed to do, do not re-relax ur whole head. Just use a serum or flat-iron until u can do a touch-up.
