So ... what's the question?

Yeah, you're right, but after the amount of money the da vinci code made with similar claims, why would a greedy moron not want to jump on the publicity bandwagon like a ravenous predator on sickly prey? If it makes you feel any better, even secular scientists have dismissed this claim as nonsense.

BTW, pyshomistress said something about bone fragments being found. Actually the bones were in there, but were buried in a respectful custom as I'm assuming is done with all finds from that area.

Also, this shocking and amazing discovery (sarcasm) was discovered at least twenty years ago. Also, both Jesus and Mary were very common names, it's like someone hundreds of years from now digging up graves and assuming that they had found one particular "Amy" and "Matthew". Not bloody likely.

You don't get to dictate how people answer. You don't own this site, or even this question. If you have a problem with what people will say, delete your question.

With that said, no body was found. A body after that long? Who is this dumb?

The bible holds no water in this situation. You actually believe that anyone in that kind of field would ever take the bible seriously? ROFL.

And for anyone who isn't aware, bone residue was found, so the body was present in that tomb at some point or another.

Man, do people even read anymore?

You are so right. Jesus arose from the tomb, and conqured death and the grave. He is alive. Again, Athiest try to use their money and influence to Denounce their creator. The preincarnate Christ- He is the word and without him was nothing created, how was the worlds and all that in them was created, God Spoke it. (The Word). The incarnate Christ, Born uno this world of the flesh (He had to endure the same emotions, the same temptations, and feel the same Pain, as all, and had to die, because the wage of sin is death, Adam and Eve fell to temptation and this was made so. Now we live with the Living Word (Christ in us). Your Faith is as true as the Lifes Blood flowing through you. When any Miracle or Sign was recorded in Scripture, what was the one true fact that links each and every one? THE WORD, GOD SAID SPEAK IT, and it did happen. If you truly beleive and have absolutely no doubt, Speak forth with absolute authority your Faith, and you will see the evidence thereof, it will be so. Jesus said, if you say to this tree to be plucked up and move from here to yonder place, it should OBEY YOU!! FAITH, not suggested and implied, but SPOKEN AND APPLIED!!

How can you ask us not to answer if we aren't going to bash christians when you represent everything that we don't like about them? And your entire question bashes the opinions of others! Can we say, just another typical christian hypocrite? Its okay to insult the opinions of others as long as your precious doctrine remains intact. Your attitude makes me want to vomit all over your shoes.

I'm not saying that I believe this is the tomb of *your* Jesus or of another Jesus. I don't know. There isn't enough evidence for me to take a definite stance. However, that doesn't mean that I don't believe that the body of Jesus is around here somewhere.

For some of us, the bible is not the "end-all" of knowledge. You never learn or grow unless you search and question. To simply accept that all the answers of the universe can be found in one book is an insult to god by letting the brain he gave you lie dormant!

I agree! Also many of the scientists are aitheists who do NOT believe Jesus is real, but now they are saying he existed and his tomb was found. BS!!! Jesus' body was risen to Heaven it did not stay on earth! Plus Jesus never had a son or wife.

I think that tomb is a bunch of bull. That tomb was found a couple years ago, and they've already proven it wasn't. The people who are bringing it back up again just want money. They're just a bunch of greedy idiots

Jesus' tomb was empty. If some one wanted to lie that the body was stolen, they did not have to do anything else than just bring His body in to prove that He did not resurrect.

So, maybe the bible is wrong.
It really would not be the first time it has been wrong.

However I don't think they found the grave of Jesus because I don't believe Jesus ever existed.

But of course if it actually was shown to be the grave of Jesus then I might need to change my mind about that.

That is the great thing about being a sceptic. If evidence appears you can change your mind about your conclusions.

I think that this world is so desperate to try and prove God wrong because they don't want to believe that they might actually need a savior, so they pull out any foolish argument they can. It is nothing new, they have been trying since the beginning of time, nobody has achieved it. God always wins in the end.

Non-existant peopel don't get tombs anyway. You don't even have to accept fairy-tales to know it's a media joke.
