Don't ask me how I know this....

What is a Japanese perm:
A Japanese perm is basically Japanese hair straightening. It's famous because it works very well and probably the best way to get your hair perfectally straight. Japanese perms are also known as Thermal Reconditions. Your hair will feel really smooth, healthier, and shiner. Also, your hair won't be susceptible to humidity. You'll be able to run your fingers through your hair.

How long does it take:
4 to 8 hours, depending on the length and volume (thickness) of your hair.

How long does it last?
About 4-12 months, depending on your curl pattern and how well you can work with your hair.

Does it damage your hair:
Your hair has to be healthy before this treatment. If you've put a lot of chemicals in your hair prior to the japanese perm, it's probably not a good idea.

How much does it cost:
300-500 dollars. You'll have to look around for the best professionals.
