What do you guys think of it? Is it hard to use? Someone told me I might need a new printer.

If you are going just install the new operating system on your old computer, don't bother. If you are going to buy a new computer, if possible, wait until around 'till mid to late summer. There will be more cool new stuff out then. As of now, most stuff is still designed to be used with Windows XP, and not Vista. If your printer is old, then you may need to replace it, because your printer manufacturer may not make a Vista driver.

I was just given a brand new laptop for my birthday, and it had windows vista installed in it.
It is wonderful!
I am NOT very technologically savvy, but I can use this!
It's so easy. Very self explanatory. And it is more "alive" like an apple computer. It has everything I love about Windows, but some of the "apple-like" qualities it was missing before. I don't know about the printer. It depends on what you have, but I'm sure the guys at your computer shop could tell you!

I would definitely recommend it.

I tried Vista its nice and cool gadgets too but some bugs still need to be fixed. But to get the best out of Vista it needs at-least 1gig of ram and a good NEW graphics card with 256MB to get the best use of Vista and a minimal 1.0GHz processor. I recommend 1.8GHz or higher. Over all its nice needs better hardware compatibility and needs to use less resources it can be a real hog. Also it not vary good for gamers it takes frame rate away from the game. I myself am going to wait for a SP1 pack and hope it fixs all the bugs

if your printer is very old you will need a new printer, but regardless you should wait a few months before getting vista, that way your not one of the guinea pig

It's not hard to use but right now it's crap!My new computer won't turn off using vista. It's full of bugs.My advice is don't buy it until it's fixed.I'm having nothing but nightmares with it.Microsoft should have waited until it was working before they started shoving down our throats.

my computer is custom built for performance , the biggest problem is that all the software makers aren't compatitable with it yet , and Yahoo really needs to get their heads out of their a$$es ,and be compatitable .
